Polar Express

I know Christmas is still a month and a half away but we started our celebration a little early this past weekend. We took the kids to Bryson City, NC to spend the weekend in a cabin and ride the Polar Express on the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad. We had the best time and the kids loved building campfire and making smores and just spending time playing outside and of course, the highlight of their weekend was riding on train. Mack has been watching the Polar Express movie this past week and when he sat in Santa's lap before we rode the train he told him he wanted a bell from Santa's sleigh (just like the movie:)
He was so excited when Santa came through the train at the end of the ride and gave all the kids a bell. Henley on the other hand was terrified of Santa, but loved the train and eating cookies and drinking hot chocolate.

Henley was so scared of Santa

 She eats everything in sight

She was dipping her finger in the hot chocolate and licking it, this occupied her for quite a while
