Overdue Post

It has been over 3 months since I last updated this blog. I thought about giving it up, but realized it is the only good documentation I am keeping on our little family and it is lots of fun to look back on. So here goes the last three months:

We sold our house, have moved twice and are anxiously awaiting our new home to be finished. We hope to be in by Christmas. Mack started 3K and Henley toddler room. Jim won a trip to Hawaii for work and we spent an amazing week in Maui. We went to Mississippi for the 4th. We went swimming, to the water park, went for yogurt too many times to count, had a few cookouts, and spent most Saturday mornings at the downtown market.  We went fishing, to the beach and the mountains.

Mack is almost 3 and half. He is into all things superhero, spiderman and batman are his favs. He loves to watch one movie over and over until we finally convince him to watch something else. Right now we are on Little Rascals. Which promted him to tell me "Sometimes I like girls and sometimes I don't". He loves to tell that his best friends are Hunter, Weston, Will and Tyler Murray.  We went through a few days when he was sneaking toys in his pocket at school and bringing them home, he said "It's ok, Mama, the teacher did not see me, I did it when she was not looking." We have since explained stealing and now he just brings home mulch from the playground in his pocket everyday. He also loves a stick, I find them all over the house.

Henley is almost 20 months and as wild as ever. She is a fireball. Everyone at daycare knows her as she makes her presence known wherever she is. She has no fear, she will do things Mack still has not thought about doing. She wants to do everything on her own and is in a big independent phase. She never sits still, will not watch tv and rarely even wants to sit and eat although she loves to eat. She is talking more and can put two or three words together. She says "Me, Me, Me" when she wants to do something by herself.
She weighs 27 pounds (84%) and wears a 2T and size 5 shoe. She still goes to bed between 6 and 7pm.

Mack had a big Summer, he spent a week in Mississippi, went to Atlanta with Daddy and had a ball getting in the water as much as he could
